Endbridge Pipelines Inc.
We
began, in 1998, by performing part of the civil work at the
Montréal-Est station, which included:
- Building foundations
- Modifications to the existing building
- Excavation and backfill for the gas and electrical lines
within a system of existing pipes.
- Removal of contaminated soil
- Excavation for the basin and installation of the geomembrane
(Enviro Liner type)
In 1999, we received another contract for the Terrebonne
station, which consisted in installing vents in the basin
geomembrane to alleviate pressure caused by the water table.
This high pressure produced accumulated water under the membrane,
causing it to raise and deform locally. After installing
the vents, evacuating the water, and streamlining the membrane,
we reshaped the basin and installed a new automatic pump.
This work was performed under highly restrictive conditions.
